THE Royal British Legion’s Shropshire County branch is proud announce that this year’s charity concert on Saturday, September 12, will feature the renowned tenor Tim Pitman, ably supported by the stunning young soprano, Sophie King.

Tim has a solid musical background having sung at the Glastonbury Extravaganza with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra along with Nigel Kennedy and Joss Stone.

He has also performed with the Coldstream Guards in front of 20,000 people at the Birm- ingham Tattoo in 2005 and 2008.

He has performed at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance in 2007 and 2008 as well as for BBC Radio Bristol at the live concert held in Bristol Cathedral.

Sophie King, a stunning young soprano, has been described as, potentially, the next Katherine Jenkins. She has sung at both Glastonbury Abbey and the RBL Festival of Remembrance at Colston Hall, Bristol.

Adult tickets are priced £10, and for children (up to 14) £5.
