TWO people were taken to hospital following an accident between a car and a lorry at Craven Arms today.
Emergency services were called to Grove Drive shortly before midday.
Ambulance press officer Claire Thomas said: "Crews arrived to find a car on one side of a road, partially in a hedge, and a lorry on the other side of the road.
"The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, suffered a low arm injury, a minor facial injury and pain in his chest.
"Crews treated the man at the scene for his injuries before he was flown, in a stable condition, to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
"The passenger of the car, a woman in her 70s, suffered a minor graze to her hip and a cut to her ankle.
"She was treated by crews before being transferred by land ambulance to the same hospital."
