PEOPLE in south Shropshire are being given the chance to have a say about building a sustainable future.
The Shropshire Partnership, made up of Shropshire Council, public ser vice providers and business and community groups, is inviting views on its vision of what the county should be like in 2020.
The partnership has drawn up a draft sustainable community strategy, which outlines five ‘themes’ that it will concentrate on – children and young people; economic vitality; the environment; health, culture and leisure; and our communities.
The draft strategy and questionnaires are available online at shropshirepartner ship.org.uk. Paper copies are available at any of Shropshire Council’s 17 customer service points across the county, plus its area headquarters.
People can also call 01743 252269 and ask to be emailed or posted a copy.
