NETWORK Rail has fulfilled a promise made to former Shropshire county councillor Vivienne Parry by helping residents at the junction of Sheet Road and Charlton Rise.
Mrs Parry said railway workers used a small pull-in near the junction of the two roads when working nearby. This churned up the grass and created a mess, spread by vehicles all over the junction.
Network Rail has now written to Mrs Parry to say the area had now been overlaid with hardcore.
