HELP WITH YOUR COSTUMES – Looking forward to the carnival on Sunday, July 5, local artists Rosie Read and Dru Cole are offering a free workshop on Sunday. People can drop in for help in realising their ideas for their costume, float or possibly other decorative needs.

The workshop is at the Church Barn, Bishop’s Castle, from 10am until 2.30pm. It is free thanks to funding from the Seen It, Done It, Got Creative scheme at Shropshire Council.

As well as the workshop, Castle Artists are holding an exhibition of their members’ current work on the carnival field and invite everyone to visit their pavilion at the carnival.

On Saturday, July 4, they close their successful exhibition at Bear Steps, Shrewsbury, and move to the carnival field.

Please come along.

To book your place or discuss your ideas with the artists beforehand, phone Janny Phillips, 638235.
