SPECIAL Forest Schools at Hadnall near Ludlow and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms have been given a boost after more than 50 teachers, teaching assistants and other staff successfully completed training to become leaders.
Forest schools involve children and young people, aged from three to 18, working with a qualified Forest School leader and their nursery leader/teacher on a frequent and regular basis throughout the year in a local woodland setting.
