Ludlow pub serves the best ale in town

LUDLOW’S Ye Olde Bull Ring Tavern serves the best ale in the town – according to drinkers of the tipple.

The pub won the coveted People’s Choice award during the ale trail, which was part of the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival.

Staff at the watering hole served hundreds of customers who took part in the trail during the three-day event and the pub was given the thumbs up for their entry – Timothy Taylor Landlord ale.

Landlord Simon Patrick said: “We were chuffed to bits to hear we had won. It has been one of our missions to establish the pub as a real ale inn and I’m really proud that all our effort has been recognised.”
