POLICE are appealing for help to trace a man reported missing from Church Stretton.

Christopher Jiggins, 56, is described as a well-built, bald white man, with a distinctive moustache. He was last seen wearing camouflage clothing, shorts and boots. He is known as "Jiggsy"

He has been missing since 7pm on October 29.

Anyone with any information or who may have seen Mr Jiggins since this time is urged to contact police via 07977957788.

PC Katie Phillips said: "Christopher Jiggins is a well-known character in Church Stretton and we are concerned about where he is. If you see him or have any information as to his whereabouts, I ask you to please contact us."

Update: 

Officers searching for Mr Jiggins have new information about when he was last seen.

West Mercia Police said: "Further to our enquiries it has been established that Christopher was last seen near to the Family Shopper in Sandford Avenue at around 8.15am on October 30.

"We would ask anybody who was in the area at that time who recalls seeing him to contact us. We are also keen to speak to anyone who has seen or heard from him since."
