A REPEAT offender has been banned from the roads after she was caught breaking the law.
Leanne Bennett entered guilty pleas to one count of driving without a licence and one count of driving without insurance to magistrates in Worcester in September.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 32-year-old had been caught out on the B4368 at Craven Arms on January 19 after getting behind the wheel of a Peugeot Partner.
But, magistrates were told, Bennett did not have a licence authorising her to drive a vehicle of that class and did not have a valid third-party insurance policy in place at the time.
Bennett, of Brook Road, Craven Arms, was fined a total of £160 for the offences and disqualified from driving for six months, with magistrates saying a roads ban was obligatory due to repeat offending.
She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £64 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
