Parliament to debate Post Office closures

AFTER presenting petitions protesting about post office closures in the Ludlow constituency to Parliament, Ludlow MP Philip Dunne has secured a debate in the House of Commons on Tuesday, June 17.

Mr Dunne said: "I want to put Ministers on the spot about the impact on local communities of closing so many post offices in the Ludlow constituency."

He added: "The consultation period ended on Monday, final decisions will be made this month, so this is the last chance to save our post offices."
