Bishop Castle biomass debate postponed

SOUTH Shropshire District Council's plans to debate the Bishops Castle biomass power plant application today (Wednesday) have been postponed at the 11th hour.

Planners felt that it will be of benefit to hold the meeting closer to the site because of the amount of criticism surrounding the proposal.

The meeting will now be held at the Public Hall, Bishops Castle, on Tuesday, May 20 at 10.30m.
