THERE'S an even greener way of getting out and about this summer - why not hop on to Shropshire Hills shuttle bus to get across county.
The Secret Hills Shuttle will be in operation from May 3 and visitors to the Clun Green Man festival are invited to take advantage of the service.
The shuttle departs at 10.35am from the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms, and picking up from Harry Tuffins and the railway station before heading to Clun. Alternatively, the shuttle leaves from Church Street in Bishop's Castle at 12noon.
The bus service provides a valuable transport network across the Shropshire Hills linking the market towns with the countryside and local attractions.
Included on the destination list is the Long Mynd plateau and the rugged Stiperstones ridge for walkers. Heritage sites are also on the agenda such as Snailbeach, the Bog and Bury Ditches.
For further information on routes and timetables pick up a copy of the 2008 Shuttle leaflet from any library or Visitor Information Centre, or visit www.shropshirehillsshuttles.co.uk The Shropshire Hills Shuttles will be running every weekend and Bank Holiday Monday until the end of September.
