THERE will be a slow cycle ride around Ludlow on Saturday to draw attention to the climate crisis.

It will start at 10am at Ludlow Rugby Club and cover five miles before finishing in Castle Square.

The ride called ‘Pedal on Cop’ is intended to draw attention to the climate change issues as world leaders are meeting in Glasgow.

There is no need for those taking part to be accomplished cyclist and all taking part have pledged to ride as a group and at the pace of the slowest.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult and those under 18 must complete a consent form.

The idea is to make a lot of noise and so bells, horns and banners are welcome. People can join part way round.
