TWO groups from a Ludlow Nursing Home have been climbing mountains.
Staff, family and friends from Churchill House recently climbed Mount Snowdon to raise money for The Midlands Air Ambulance.
The walk was in memory of Hannah Blakeway who worked at the home.
So far, the climb has raised more than £3,000 and money is still coming in with the final amount set to be announced soon.
Mount Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales at 3,500 feet and is the highest point in the UK outside of the Scottish Highlands.
It is also the most popular mountain in the UK with more than 580,000 visitors each year with a significant proportion taking on the challenge to raise money for charity like the team from Churchill House.
The site is designated as a National Park and has a mountain railway.
