Tonight sees a live streaming of the award-winning West End musical Everybody's talking about Jamie, at Ludlow Assembly Rooms.

The live broadcast will feature the critically acclaimed West-End cast including the Olivier Award Nominated duo John McCrea (God’s Own Country) and Josie Walker (The Beautiful Game) who play Jamie New and his mother Margaret New, with Tamsin Carroll (Miss Saigon), Lucie Shorthouse (The Sound of Music Live) and Phil Nichol (Man Down) making up the rest of the 24-strong cast. Accompanied by an eight-piece band, they promise to ‘sweep you away on a tide of mischief, warmth and exuberance’ (Financial Times).

Everybody's Talking About Jamie is directed by Jonathan Butterell (Alone Together – Divas at the Donmar) who was inspired to create Everybody’s Talking About Jamie after watching the Firecracker documentary film about the real-life and remarkable story of Jamie Campbell and his mother Margaret. With ‘songs that have the wow factor’ (The Times) composed by lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling, Dan Gillespie Sells, and ‘hilarious’ book and lyrics ‘with delightful punch’ (Whatsonstage), by writer Tom MacRae (Doctor Who), the production has been delighting audiences since opening night.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie will be streamed live to Ludlow Assembly Rooms' screen tonight at 7.20pm. To book, call the box office on 01584 878141 or visit ludlowassemblyrooms.co.uk
