Beardy Folk Festival is a new, beautifully crafted, midsummer music weekend boasting a brilliant line up of contemporary and traditional folk music with helpings of acoustic, indie, bluegrass, country and Americana.

The festival is set in the beautiful grounds of Hopton Court amidst stunning Shropshire countryside, with the music arena hidden inside a secret 19th century walled garden. There's so much to see and do around the festival site with 30 music artists, headlined by Nick Heyward of Haircut 100 touring with his first album in 18 years, plus Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman, 3 Daft Monkeys, comedy and folk legend Richard Digance , Skerryvore and False Lights, performing over two stages, an artisan food court, real ale, cider and cocktail bars, a small trade village, freestyle fitness yoga, Morris and Appalachian dancing plus heaps of children's entertainment including circus workshops and shows, traditional fairground rides, some enchanted woods hosting family activities, storytelling and a woodland walk.

The Beardy Folk Festival runs from June 22 to 24 at Hopton Court, Cleobury Mortimer. There are three camping areas all with amazing views, and under-13s go free. For further details and to book, visit www.beardyfolkfestival.co.uk
