AS part of the centenary year of the Worcestershire Federation of Women's Institutes, the members of the Tenbury Wells WI decided that they would plant a commemorative tree in
the small WI garden in the town.
They approached a local company Frank P Matthews, the nationally renowned 'Trees for Life' growers, who very kindly donated a small weeping cherry tree and planted it for the WI on
Wednesday, May 23.
President Primrose Wallace (second from the left) is shown accompanied by committee members Margaret Davis, Val Smith and Mary Davison.
