Tonight sees the premiere in Hay-on-Wye of a new play by Owen Sheers.
Unicorns, Almost is a one-man show about the life and work of the World War II poet, Keith Douglas, and opens at The Swan in Hay.
Written by Owen Sheers (The Passion, Mametz, Pink Mist) and directed by John Retallack (who directed Pink Mist), Unicorns, Almost will plunge the audience into Keith Douglas’ world and character, using the best of his poems as stepping stones through his life. Unicorns, Almost is produced by Clyro-based The Story of Books.
Unicorns, Almost runs from tomorrow, May 25 until Thursday, June 7 at The Swan Hotel, at 5pm and 8pm.
