A MAN has appeared in front of magistrates after being charged with conspiracy to commit murder of Robert Eacock.

Artaf Hussain, 31, of Slater Street, Tipton, appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court this morning after being charged on Saturday.

Hussain spoke only to confirm his name and is due to appear again at Worcester Crown Court later this week.

Mr Eacock, aged 33, of Hereford, died in hospital after being stabbed in Commercial Street, Hereford, on January 29, 2018.

A 21-year-old man from Tipton was also arrested at the weekend on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been bailed while investigations continue.

Anthony Boyd, aged 22, from Willenhall, has already been charged with murder.

He is due to appear for a pre-trial hearing at Worcester Crown Court next month.
