Acknowledged as a leading interpreter of the works of Beethoven, John Lill has been performing recitals since the age of nine, and tomorrow, Friday, January 19, at Malvern Theatres, John will be performing a Piano Concerto premiered in 1803, with Beethoven himself as the soloist.

Two works by Mozart are featured in the first half of the concert with Orchestra of the Swan: Don Giovanni’s Overture, completed – some say – on the same day as its premiere, and Symphony no 41, the longest and last of his symphonies, and one of the very first symphonies to be recorded in 1913 using the earliest recording technology.

There will also be a pre-show talk at 6.45pm, for which tickets are free.

John Lill will be at Malvern Theatres tomorrow at 7.45pm. To book, call the box office on 01684 892277 or visit malvern-theatres.co.uk
