Snow has fallen on high ground in Worcestershire and in the north of the county.
And is also starting to fall in Worcester itself.
Worcestershire County Council gritters have been out since Thursday night and are continuing to operate to keep major roads passable.
The M5 in the Black Country and Staffordshire Has been disrupted by much heavier snowfall to the north of the county, but the motorway has been running smoothly with no problems around Worcester
According to the Met Office, snow will continue on and off around Worcester all day today and it will be very cold.
While tomorrow is expected to be even colder it will be sunny, but a yellow ‘be aware’ warning has been issued for the whole of the midlands, for snow on Sunday.
The Met Office is warning of possible heavy snow from the early hours of Sunday morning to midnight.
Worcestershire Highways, and the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Fire Service are warning people take extra care when driving.
