The Hereford String Orchestra will be holding its Autumn Concert on Saturday, November 25 at 7.30pm in St John's Methodist Church, St Owen's Street.
The concert will be an evening of English strings music, but including the beautiful concerto for oboes and violin by Bach. The two soloists will be well-known to Hereford audiences - Suzie Shrubb playing oboe and Kirsten Hellier on the violin. Both have played with Hereford Strings before and the orchestra is delighted to welcome them back.
The programme consists of works by Locke, Purcell, Hubert Parry and John Ireland and is conducted by Roland Melia.
Tickets available from Off the Wall in St Peter's Street, on the door, or by calling 01568 760633.
