A TOWN council has approved expenditure towards getting urgent repairs carried out on a historic building.
Ross-on-Wye town councillors approved spending £8,950 from the Property Portfolio Sinking Fund to appoint architects to prepare a specification for essential works on the Market House.
The money will also be used to prepare a listed building application and a scheduled ancient monument application.
The Market House is the responsibility of the town council after they took it on in an asset transfer from Herefordshire Council.
