GREYHOUND chairman Chris Ricketts knows his side face a stern test this weekend when they travel to Bishop's Castle in Midlands 5 West (North).

The Dogs have won all of their three games this season to lead the division and comfortably saw off Stourport 47-14 last Saturday.

However, Bishop's Castle are also going along nicely, having won two out of their three games having come down from the league above.

"We've had a good start to the season and everything is positive, but we've got a tough game this weekend," said Ricketts.

"We know what to expect and will go there with a good squad.

"Dewi Williams picked up an injury, but Kev Murphy, Alan Edwards and Jake Cheshire are all available."

Chris Fisher, Elliot Phillips and Liam Webdale all bagged two tries, with Ross Foster also going over.

Fisher added six conversions.

Meanwhile, Ledbury captain Rob Anscomb says he won't be taking Bromyard lightly when the two rivals clash this Saturday in a Midlands 3 West (South) derby.

Bromyard have lost all four games since gaining promotion and have also been docked five points for fielding an inlegible player.

But Ledbury have also been inconsistent, winning two and losing two of their four games.

"I cannot remember the last time the teams played each other so it's good to have these sort of games back on the calendar," said Anscomb, who is hoping to be fit after nursing a foot injury.

"We certainly won't be thinking about what they have been doing because we haven't had the best of starts either.

"There should be a lot of people down there watching, so it should be a good day."

Ledbury lost 23-12 to Alcester last Saturday; Jamie Rayfield and Dave Wargen scoring their tries.

Bromyard managed to get a losing bonus point against joint leaders Dunlop.

James Mitchell scored a brace of tries in the 22-18 defeat, with Alex Parker also getting on the scoresheet and Bobby Ralph converting a penalty.
