A PROGRAMME of live broadcasts to The Regal in Tenbury has been announced.
The live broadcasts from London are always well attended and some exciting new titles have just been revealed.
To go along with the live ballet and opera’s from the Royal Opera House, there is also the chance to catch Benedict Cumberbatch as Hamlet in an encore screening from the National Theatre.
More than 750,000 people have now seen this production and it screens at The Regal Thursday, October 5.
Staying on the play front, to coincide with Oscar Wilde’s centenary, four of his most celebrated comedies are being screened live from the Vaudeville Theatre in London.
A Woman of No Importance opens the season on Tuesday, November 28 and stars Last Tango in Halifax actress, Anne Reid.
There are two ballets suitable for the whole family, the traditional Nutcracker on Tuesday, December 5 and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland which screens at a special Sunday matinee in October.
Puccini’s masterpiece, La Boheme opens the new season, screening live from Covent garden on Tuesday, October 3. All broadcasts are on sale.
