A PREPARATORY school near Ludlow is celebrating success.
There were 34 scholarships and exhibitions achieved by 35 pupils in year eight at Moor Park School.
Moor Park sends children on to the full range of senior schools and both local and national destinations feature on the list.
Last year’s 18 leavers won 14 awards, an impressive achievement, but this year’s group have topped even this.
Moor Park caters for the full range of abilities and is not a selective school.
“We are very proud of the hard work that these children have put in over a long period of time and they, and their amazing teachers, deserve many congratulations”, said Charlie Minogue, headmaster.
“These results were not achieved through cramming or pressure: children here climb trees and enjoy the space and time necessary for an education in the fullest sense.”
The school is currently investing in new facilities.
