THE Bishop's Castle Carnival Committee have announced they will be holding a prize draw and tickets will be for sale leading up to carnival day.
Top prizes will be a MOT for a Class 4 vehicle donated by Union Street Garage in the town, an original painting donated by artist Diane Jennings from Ludlow and a sunday carvery for two with pudding donated by The Inn on the Green along with a number of other prizes. The draw will take place on carnival day at the Secretary's Tent which will be July 2 this year.
In addition there will be a his and hers wheelbarrow of goodies as part of a separate draw which includes a voucher for four people to play a round of golf - 18 holes at Arscott Golf Club. The wheelbarrow will be decorated and piled full of his and her gifts.
The carnival committee are very grateful to those people and organisations who have offered prizes for the draw and his and hers wheelbarrow.
