EGGS have been used to help encourage young people in Bishop's Castle to find out more about the Town Hall.

An egg hunt was organised to encourage youngsters to explore and look more closely at Bishop's Castle Town Hall and to raise money for the trust.

The hunt, which has been organised by Bishop's Castle Town Hall trustee Evelyn Bowles continues until Friday, April 21.

Bishop's Castle Town Hall dates back to 1765 and has undergone a major Lottery-funded renovation.

It is the home of Bishop's Castle Town Council and stages regular community events including a monthly local produce market and art exhibitions.
