BACK in March 1983, an Easter christening at Ludlow's Broad Street Methodist Church reunited the Acton family for the first time in two years.
Baby Adam Spicer travelled across the Atlantic with his mum to create the occasion.
Adam's grandparents, Mr and Mrs Frank Acton of Broad Street had five children and Susan emigrated to Canada and married there.
Her other two sons Geoffrey and Matthew were christened in Saskatchewan, where they lived. From left, Doris Acton, Susan Spier holding baby Adam John, godmother Meriel Harris (Susan's sister) and Frank Acton; in front are Geoffrey and Matthew Spier.
