AN open day at Brimfield Sports Club on April 9 is aimed at recruiting people interested in the game of bowls.
Members of Brimfield and Little Hereford Bowling Club will be happy to help anyone interested in trying their hand on the green, open for the first time since the winter break.
All equipment will be provided free with visitors welcome to stay on for tea at the Haynall Lane venue.
“We have members who achieve regular success at county and national level and others who just enjoy a roll up once or twice a week,” said club chairman, Lester Bennett. “We have lots of social activities apart from bowls and pride ourselves on being a friendly, welcoming club.”
The fun gets underway at 2.15.
