A FEW days ago I had the privilege of attending a funeral service for a wonderful Christian man.
During his lifetime, he touched many with his love, his kindness, his sense of humour and his deep appreciation of life.
He was the type of person who brought you joy, just by being in his presence!
Those who had been bereaved shared memories of a husband, a dad and a grandfather with great dignity and poise.
It was clear to all who were present how much the man was loved and all of us left the service, deeply moved by all that had been shared.
Why do we find it difficult to tell others that we love them, here and now?
Sharing our love with one another is not a weakness, but a strength.
We live in a world riddled with hate, yet deep down we are all longing to be loved. Love builds, hate tears apart.
Love is from God who loves with an everlasting love. And we are called to love one another as He has loved us.
Don't wait. Tell someone that you love them today. It will be a moment that you will never regret.
