LUDLOW Air Cadets are continuing to celebrate their 75th anniversary.

Founded in 1941, the air cadets have held a series of events this year to celebrate this milestone anniversary and recently members of 333 (Ludlow) Squadron took part in a parade at RAF Cosford along with almost 600 cadets and adult volunteers from across West Mercian Wing.

Now to bring their own celebrations to a close, Ludlow Air Cadets are holding an anniversary ball at Richards Castle Village Hall on Saturday (October 22).

The cadets' achievements over the past 12 months will be recognised by the presentation of the Squadron trophies and a cheque will be presented to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity which has been the Squadron’s chosen charity this year.

Tickets are £15 each and include a hot supper and live music from local band “Hotrox”. Anyone wishing to purchase tickets, should contact Maureen on 07840881760 or Rob on 07976572645.
