THW Wild Hare Club kicks off the annual Borderlines Film Festival with a one-off show featuring The Incredibly Strange Film Band.

Conceived to tie in with the UK’s biggest rural film festival, the show pays tribute to some of the great writers and composers who have provided the soundtracks to many of our favourite movies.

The Incredibly Strange Film Band will be taking to the stage with an impressive 11-piece line-up including a revved-up horn section.By cherry-picking favourites from the 1960s to the present day, the band intend not only to please the ears but also have the crowd dancing from the start.

Helping compere the show is one ‘Marilyn Monroe’ (the UK's No 1 Marilyn impersonator, Laura Nixon) who will give the show some genuine Hollywood glamour as well as charming the audience with her legendary wit.

“People love an excuse to dress up to the nines and, for this show, we are encouraging people to come in ‘red carpet attire’ - there will be two top photographers on hand to capture the action,” said Richard Page, MC and hare-brain behind the eclectic Wild Hare Club.

The Wild Hare Club presents The Incredibly Strange Film Band with special guests ‘Marilyn Monroe’ and DJ Jus’ Jay on Saturday 27th February at Lyde Court . To book, call The Courtyard box office on 01432 340555.
