THERE will be a public consultation on a housing scheme in Ludlow Town Centre on Tuesday (February 9).
It will take place in The Feathers between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.
The scheme is to build 25 new homes on the site of the former Shropshire District Council offices adjacent to The Stone House at the bottom of Corve Street.
It is envisaged that there will be a mix of period town houses, cottages and apartments with communal gardens. There would be three homes set aside for affordable housing – rent or shared ownership.
A plan for the scheme has been lodged with Shropshire Council and it expected to be considered in April. If approved the developer Purcell says that it would be completed by the summer of 2017.
