PEOPLE in Ludlow and south Shropshire and across Tenbury and the Teme Valley are warned by police that they are likely to be shocked at the value of the contents of their sheds.

Garden sheds are often considered low priority when it comes to security and can make easy pickings when it comes to crime.

People can often be shocked at the value of items that typically get stored in sheds such as tools, cycles and gardening equipment.

This can, police say, often can amount to more than the contents of a typical living room.

Advice includes fitting good locks, making sure windows are secure and fitting security alarms. Padlocking large items together can also make them harder to steal.
