On Saturday, December 5, award-winning Hay-on-Wye based puppeteers, PuppetSoup,will take you to the edge of your seat and the brink of your imagination, where wise men are grown from witch’s cauldrons and dragons really do exist.
Lose yourself in this enchanting piece of puppet theatre and adventure through time, landscapes and legends into a world of dragons, folklore and ancient stories from the Welsh book of fairy tales, The Mabinogion.
Storytelling, mask, mime and stunning large and small scale puppetry seamlessly intertwine to tell a beautiful and touching story of friendship and one man’s quest to find home. Prepare to be moved, entertained, enthralled and even a little bit scared.
Earlier in the day, PuppetSoup will present an exciting workshop for young puppet lovers, aged seven to 13. PuppetSoup have toured internationally as individual puppeteers and artists as well as creating work with their own and other companies.
