A 25-year-old Ludlow woman has admitted offences of theft and fraud relating to the purchase of goods from internet retailers.
Rebecca Roberts pleaded guilty to falsely representing that she was entitled to use a relative's bank card for on-line shopping.
At Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday Roberts also admitted the theft of £1,500 from Angela Riggs and the theft of four cheques from the victim.
The court heard that the offences took place between April and August last year.
Sentence was adjourned until November 23 for reports and Roberts, of Henley Road, Ludlow, was allowed bail.
The defendant, and her 58-year-old mother Cynthia Roberts, of Station Cottages, Bromfield, were due to have faced trial next week.
At court yesterday Cynthia Roberts was discharged and allegations of fraud and receiving stolen property against her were ordered to lie on the file.
