A FINE example of how green spaces can look wonderful in autumn is the nursery in the walled garden at Mynd Hardy Plants at Diddlebury between Ludlow and Bridgnorth.
It is open on Sunday (September 6) beyween10 am and 5pm when this delightful location shows off autumn coloured plants to their best within the grounds of the spectacular Delbury Hall Estate, which will also be open to visitors to admire the beautifully planted borders and reflective lake.
Admission to Mynd Hardy plants is £4 for adults, free to children. Home-made will teas available.
Money collected at the garden gates go straight to the NGS beneficiary charities, which include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Hospices UK and the Carers Trust as well as many other smaller charities.
