LUDLOW went to the dogs today.

It was ‘dog day’ when Ludlow Rotary Club held its annual fundraising event in the grounds of Stokesay Court.

Thousands of people were present for the club's second Ludlow Dog Day.

This is the big charity fundraising event of the year held by the Ludlow Rotary Club and is the culmination of many months of work.

There were many attractions with all kinds of displays and trade stands.

Pet owners also had the chance to enter their dogs in a range of different competitions.

There was also backing from businesses in Ludlow and south Shropshire that showed their support as sponsors.

The beneficiaries this year are The Ludlow Hospital League of Friends, Canine Partners and St Michael’s Hospice near Hereford that has been providing support for people with life-limiting illnesses for 30 years.
