A COFFEE morning will be held on Saturday at Bishops Castle Town Hall starting at 10am and finishing at noon in the council chamber. All funds raised will be put towards the mayor Karen Bavastock's chosen charities for this year, namely Crowgate Childcare Centre, the Community College and the Town Hall trust for something linked to children.

Karen said "I have been supported brilliantly by Mary Seldon, our town clerk and my consort Rosemary Griffiths and we have organised a draw, tombola, and a few locals are going to have stalls selling their wares - so far I have jewellery, handbags, bric a brac and few others still to confirm so hope it will be a very special morning and raise funds for some very worthwhile local organisations".

For further information contact Karen on 07967 100903 or the clerks office 01588 638141. Karen went on to say that "she would be grateful for any donations in the form of bottles for the tombola, draw prizes, cakes, etc. Please drop off anything at the clerks office or Union Street Garage and the money will all benefit local organisations who are all linked to children - who are the future of the town".
