TWO long serving teachers at a Ludlow school are retiring.
Arlaine Nunn is retiring after 27 years at Ludlow Infant and Nursery School, while Sue Fairbrace is stepping down after 15 years.
Mrs Nunn, who has taught mainly year one pupils and lives in Tenbury, said: "I have loved every minute of working here. It is such a lovely school.
The greyhound enthusiast was presented with a retired ex-racer as a retirement gift.
Ms Fairbrace, who lives in Church Stretton, said: "I have loved teaching in an infants school as opposed to a primary which has juniors.
"It's lovely to concentrate on the younger children."
She was given a suitcase, a bird table, and a serving dish as parting gifts.
Both teachers will remain familiar faces as they will work one day a week.
