APPLETREE in Lower Galdeford, Ludlow, will be hosting its first ever craft fair on Saturday (May 16) starting at 10am.
There will be stalls to browse and alongside these there will be a variety of hands-on activities such as pottery painting thanks to Splat and Splodge who will have pieces to suit all tastes and budgets.
There will also be a cozy corner set aside for a 'knit and natter', where visitors can bring their own ‘work in progress’ or sit and learn a few basic stitches as an introduction to this relaxing craft.
“We have been delighted by the response to this new venture from the crafts people of South Shropshire and it will be fantastic to see so many of them demonstrate their skills and introducing people to their crafting passion,” said Mel Davies, project manager for Appletree.
Entry is free to the public.
There will also be a ‘Vintage Tea Room’ which will be serving hot and cold drinks and a selection of delicious homemade cakes.
All proceeds from this fair will be used to support the work of the Appletree Organisation.
