A CARE home in Ludlow has added to its collection of accolades.
Hendra House Residential Home, based on Sandpits Road, has won an award for being the top recommended care home in the West Midlands.
The home came first out of 795 homes in the West Midlands area. The top 20 West Midlands homes received an award from carehome.co.uk, a guide to care homes
This accolade was based on the home’s recommendations from their residents, plus friends and relatives of residents.
“We felt the best people to say how good a care home really is, are the residents and their families and friends,” said Davina Ludlow, director of carehome.co.uk.
“Their recommendations show the warmth and excellent care that exists in so many care homes.
“Hendra House Residential Home has proved that it provides great care and we’d like to congratulate it on being a top recommended home in the West Midlands.
"It’s a fantastic achievement to be recognised for being a highly recommended home from the people you care for."
Vince Burmingham, the owner of Hendra House, believes that the award is well deserved.
“To be voted the top rated care home in the West Midlands region for the second year running, is another significant achievement for the home, especially as the award is based on the feedback from our residents and their families,” he said.
“It showcases nationally the consistent level of individual quality care delivered by our fantastic staff team.”
