MORE information is needed by Ludlow Town Council before it gives the go-head for a refurbishment on the historic water fountain in front of castle

The fountain is owned by the Town Council but as been allowed to fall into disrepair. Ludlow Civic Society has agreed to take on and pay for its restoration.

But now Ludlow Council wants more information about the details or the repair and refurbishment and any future costs to the authority.

Paul Kemp, deputy mayor, told the town council that they needed to be careful and the fountain only needed the work because it has been neglected.
