A SCHOOL near Ludlow is celebrating a report from the Independent Schools Inspectorate.

Moor Park School in Richard's Castle was deemed ‘outstanding’ in the overall quality and standards of its early years foundation stage provision which caters for children from three months to five-years-old.

The learning and care provided by the school was described as ‘exceptional’.

The staff, curriculum, care for children, and the leadership and management was all singled out for high praise and achievement.

Situated in 85 acres, Moor Park is a co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged two-and-a-half to 13.

Tick Tock, a dedicated standalone facility, is open five days a week, 50 weeks of the year for children from as young as three months.

“The outstanding report is just reward for the whole team in the lower school who do a brilliant job in laying the foundations for their children’s education,” said Katie Gedye, the head of lower school.

“Staff are calm and gentle while packed with enthusiasm and energy and this results in a warm, friendly feel that enables us to discover and nurture talent in a safe, caring and happy community.”
