SANTA was the main guest at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms.
The man in red spent two hours at the centre as part of ‘Santa Saturday.’
This was combined with the monthly farmers' market. It gave people the chance to buy gifts from both the market traders and the Discovery Centre shop.
Youngsters could take part in a ‘Santa Christmas Challenge’ and there was also folk music from the Shropshire ceilidh band HiJinxMusic.
There were also non-alcoholic drinks and mince pies available.
For those who missed him Father Christmas will be back at the Discovery Centre on Saturday (December 13) and the Saturday after (December 20).
There are a range of activities at the venue in December and this will include the serving of Christmas lunch in the restaurant on the Thursday and Saturday before December 25.
