LUDLOW Choral Society joined forces with Orleton Primary School Choir to present a Christmas pageant in aid of The League of Friends of Ludlow Community Hospital.
The varied programme included audience participation on traditional carols.
Orleton Primary School Choir was conducted by Matthew Davies and Patrick Larley conducted the Choral Society.
"This is a fine gesture by the Choral Society and Orleton Primary School and comes just at the time when we are out buying Christmas gifts for all our in-patients,” said Peter Corfield, chairman of the League of Friends.
"Father Christmas will be visiting the wards to spread traditional cheer and the pageant will kickstart out celebrations.
"We are currently in the process of equipping a relatives’ room at the hospital and, additionally, purchasing a new treatment chair for the minor injuries unit.
"Proceeds from the pageant will go towards these two causes.”
