A DRUID ceremony was staged on The Burgage at Tenbury as part of the town’s Mistletoe Festival that reaches its climax on Saturday.
The Druid order holds a number of public ceremonies throughout the year in different parts of the country.
Druids are probably best known for the ceremony held at Stonehenge every June to mark the summer solstice. Similar ceremonies are also staged to mark the spring and autumn Equinox in March and September.
A feature of the ceremony is that the druids ware white gowns and cowls.
