AN elderly woman has died following an accident of the A49 in Church Stretton.
Police were called at 7.10am on Monday morning (November 17) to the A49 in Church Stretton to a road traffic collision involving a vehicle (HGV) and pedestrian.
The driver of the vehicle was a male in his 60s. An elderly female pedestrian was pronounced deceased at 7.40am by the Air Ambulance.
Police closed the carriage way was closed at Craven Arms heading to Shrewsbury.
