THREE people have been arrested after a woman was injured following a collision with a car in Ludlow.

A 23-year-old women was in collision with a car outside The Bull Hotel in Corve Street on Saturday at around 12.15am.

Police say moments earlier the same car collided with a parked car which was nearby.

A 22 year-old man from Halesowen, a 27-year-old man from Birmingham and a 19-year-old man from Birmingham have been arrested and released on bail, on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Detective Sergeant John Weaver said: “This is a serious incident in which the victim ended up in hospital. Three men have been arrested in connection with this, but we are keen to hear from anyone who can further assist with our enquiries. We are investigating whether the women was intentionally struck.”

The car is a blue MG ZR and police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision with either the parked vehicle or the women to come forward by calling 101.
